Happy 60th Birthday Dad
My dad turned 60 on December 28th, so we decided to surprise him with a weekend away in Newport Beach. We hung out with the kids and ate, ALOT. And shopped at one of our favorite malls, Fashion Island. You wouldn't believe all the pooches people were walking or pushing in a stroller. It should be called Dog Mall. We celebrated his birthday dinner at an amazing Italian restaurant called Prego.
It was just so fun to get away, if only for a few days.

Wy really wanted to ride on the Tiger. Poor Wy Wy.
Boys will be boys.
Gabrielle, oh so sweet.
The boys had the best time of all, running around like mad men.

Gabrielle's Choice
Middle school definitely has pressure, from every side.
Gabrielle has been attending youth group and they have been focusing
on peer pressure and making good decisions for themselves. Gabrielle
expressed interest in wearing a purity ring to show others she
wants to be pure in more ways than one. Garon and Papa decided
it was the right time to show her that self respect is very important
to a girl her age and gave her a purity ring. If anything, I want the
decision to be hers and when she promises to the most important men in
her life to be good to herself I believe she has grown up, just a bit. We are so
proud of the way she loves others and most importantly herself.

Christmas Day
Gabrielle woke us up at 6am!
We had to go in and wake up Wyatt
I love that Gabrielle still loves dolls, she was so
excited to get an American Girl doll trunk.
Gabrielle couldn't wait to open her presents,
